How-To: Download EZGIT

Follow these steps to download your EZGIT client to start creating short term SSH Certificates for GitHub to protect your organization with short term certificates.

Tenant Prerequisites

The following prerequisites have to be done only once per tenant.

  1. Registering the application in your tenant
  2. Selecting a Plan

Windows

Navigate to your company’s EZGIT instance (usually https://YOURCOMPANYNAME.ezgit.io), and download the Windows Installer. Run through the installer. After EZGIT is installed, you are ready to start using ezgit. EZGIT Download

Mac

To Start the ezgit installation in Mac:

  1. Navigate to your company’s EZGIT instance (usually https://YOURCOMPANYNAME.ezgit.io), and download the ezgit Mac package. EZGIT Download
  2. Unzip the package.
  3. Open Terminal and navigate to the ezgit folder.
  4. Run the Install-ezgit.sh Script. 
    sudo sh Install-ezgit.sh
  5. Open a new terminal and you should be ready to start using ezgit.
